How to order - photos for restoration.

You can order and pay for the service on line or if you prefer use our ordering page to give you an estimate of how much the work would cost (see step 13).

The online ordering process is simple - just follow the steps below.

1. For each picture you want restored select the level of restoration you need from minor to Specialist

2. Decide whether you are sending just one or a number of pictures. If you have just one picture to be restored choose the 'single photo' restoration for the relevant level. If you have more than one photo to restore at the same restoration level choose the 'multiple photos' option.
3. Having selected the level of restoration and the number of pictures you are having restored, on the ordering page type in the box labelled 'instructions' the instruction you have for the photo, i.e. restore faded photo and remove the stains.

4. IGNORE THIS STEP IF YOU ARE SENDING A SINGLE PHOTO FOR RESTORATION.
If you are sending more than one photograph for restoration you will need to label each photograph on the back with a REFERENCE so we can match the photo to your instructions.
a) The ordering page has a drop down list of REFERENCES you need to use to label your photograph. For each of the pictures you send there needs to be a different reference . (See example opposite). For the 1st picture you send you need to select on screen -' 1st photo use reference A1 to label your photo' - and then write the reference A1 on the back of your photo to be restored in pencil. If you prefer put each photo in an envelope and label the envelope with the reference A1.

b) You will now need to complete the rest of the order for the 1st photo adding any additional prints you require and the click on 'Add to Cart' which will briefly take you to view what's in the cart before bringing you back to the same ordering page where you can add the next photo for restoration.

c) For the second photo you will need to select '2nd photo use reference A2 to label your photo' and label as before then click 'Add to Cart'.

You will need to repeat this process using A3 for the 3rd photo, A4 for the 4th etc. for each additional photos you wish to have restored.

5. Select any additional reprints of your photo. Remember that each restoration is supplied FREE with a 6"x4" print of the restored photograph then click on the 'Add to Cart' button at the bottom of the page.

6. Once you have clicked on the ''Add to Cart'' you will briefly see that your order has gone into the shopping cart and you will be returned to the page you were ordering from.

7. If you wish to add further photos requiring different levels of restoration repeat the above steps 1-7.

8. When you are ready to complete your order and pay click on the 'checkout' icon or to see what is in your cart go to View basket and then choose 'checkout' from there. Complete your name and address and accept the terms and conditions and then click NEXT.
The next page will ask you to confirm the delivery address. You will then be directed to the secure Netbanx Website from where you can pay by credit or debit card.

9. Once Netbanx has confirmed that a secure payment has been authorised, click 'Next' which will return you to our web site, where you will see your Receipt with full order details including your ORDER NUMBER. We suggest you print this information for your records.

10. You will receive an order confirmation email within a few minutes from sales@fixphotos which will include your order number. You MUST add this order number to the subject of your email if you are sending digital pictures for restoration by email, and either enclose a printed copy of the email, or write the ORDER NUMBER on any correspondence that you include with your photographs in the post.

11. You need to send your photos as soon as possible ideally within 2days of ordering . If posting photographs or negatives please make sure they are labelled on the back or the envelope that contains the photo with the appropriate REFERENCE from the ordering page. (see point 4)

12. For an Estimate or to pay by cheque please complete steps 1,2,5,6 on this page You then need to click on the "View Cart" page where you will be able to see the total cost for the work you have selected. If you wish to order by post please print this page and send it with the photos to be restored along with your payment by cheque to 'Fotocal' .
